  Living in Lexington, I didn't even begin to look out of the city. That said, no where left me comfortable to take my great grandmother's really old diamond ring in to get sized, cleaned, and maybe set on a new ring. They always made me feel like I would have to pay big bucks just to make sure it wasn't damaged. I had given it to my fiancee a couple weeks ago and we've been looking for a place that could take care of it the way it needed to be. This place was perfect. The owner is VERY knowledgeable. We went in not knowing almost anything and came out knowing quite a bit. We even felt like this is where we should get our wedding bands and we made a purchase on that, too. Not only was service great, but the owner made the visit very friendly instead of very business-like. I say this because other stores always made me feel like I was gypped out of money or that I was sold something just to be sold something. The owner at Heart of Gold made me feel like I had made the perfect purchase and at the best price. Not only that, but he was very personable and can tell you stories of so many interesting things. The visit was great for a lot of reasons. I recommend this place over anywhere in Lexington or Winchester.
